It works on my phone and pc now.

I want to ask first if I could announce on my notes something like this:

Quick heads-up: I just got an ARC of [Book Title] from @[Author’s Name] and I’m diving in right now. What are you all reading at the moment?

Having a hard time opening the file for the ARC readers, is there another link that maybe you can DM me?

I can get you a PDF tonight.

Would love that! Thank you!

No worries! Thank you for remembering me!

Working on this again today. It's been a crazy week or two.

From the folder you should be able to tap Download. Google Drive doesn’t support viewing epubs. Is there another file type that works better for you?

The Lady Layman's avatar

Right but I don’t have anything that can handle an epub file. PDF is great! Word etc.

Thank you for letting me know! I updated the button, so you should be able to download from the shared folder. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1OEKDRp_5ULbgAkgLmvZ3RS5ISkBaUu7T?usp=drive_link

Still the same issue. I think it's the file type.

Just a heads up. I turned off the link since the book is going on sale tomorrow. Thank you again to everyone who is participating.

Update on ARC, I finished part 1. IDK if it's ok to do a bit beta reading too (1st time I do ARC). So this is a test call.

I think in 3 places after dialogue tag, need a comma.

C2: "...damned iguana,” I tell him, stroking Squonk like an obese hairless cat.

C3: I say, gesturing to the dolled up old lady at the end of the bar.

C9: “Thanks,” I tell him, rubbing the cold out of my arms.

Structure - Hook - Characters are all working for me. You have build up a launchpad for relentless action in the part 2. Diving in tomorrow.

P/S: I wish I could have more description on the main cast. Return readers still need a line of sensory reminders weaving in between their dialogues.
